Let my passion for teaching mathematics help you reach your goals!
To know me in three short sentences:
I love math! I love teaching math! And I love my students!
Fast facts:
I am married to my college sweetheart for over 30 years. I have four children (2 and 2). I am deeply committed to my faith. I have a lovely dwarf hotot (pronounced hoe-toe) breed of rabbit. And I actually dream about mathematics!
I’ve tutored mathematics privately for over 30 years, including all forms of algebra, statistics, and several levels of calculus. My students come from all all walks of life, but all want to learn, and some have progressed so well as to be accepted to medical school.
I’m also currently studying for a masters in mathematics (statistics) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
I teach individual students online exclusively via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, so geography is never a barrier to learning. I’ve taught students from California to Nebraska to Florida. And some students and I have even joined sessions during our vacations with ocean waves crashing in the background!
Because of the quality of education, I have a select clientele. The word "bespoke" indicates a superior level of products and services, and that’s an appropriate word to use for my commitment and care of teaching that ensures the learner has every opportunity to excel in the subject of mathematics. There is no "one size fits all" when it come to learning, and my personalized sessions overturn a uniformity mindset to allow each student to learn at his or her pace while coaching strong progress towards timely completion.

Over 30 years.
I am currently studying at Massachusetts Institute of Technology for a masters in mathematics (statistics). I studied to be a teacher in undergrad, but, realizing the trajectory shift to "new math," I changed majors to Human Resources Management, which is my bachelors of science (GPA 4.0). Our English friends say, "The proof of the pudding is in the eating." Similarly, the real test of teaching success is in each student’s learning.
Delighted to do so. Please write to request.
